When choosing an animal to incorporate into a herd, or as a strong base with which to build a new herd, I feel it is very important to know the show history of the animal.
I have decided to make this page to show the cumulation of the show season for my
animals. This page was started last year, but somehow all the information was
erased, so I am having to start from scratch in 2002.
AGPA Show in Little Rock, Arkansas. March 4-5
Shown: all milking does (except Michcle) and all dry does Noor: BOB (for a dry leg) and went on to win BDIS for the junior does. She
also won RCH the previous day. She was pulled from her class after winning her leg, as
there were still plenty of alpines to make the sanction. Opal: junior RCH Mi*Esperar Krishna (sold): BOB twice, but there were not enough animals to make the
sanction. His daughter from his new owner's herd also won her dry leg and RCH behind
Noor.
NCAGA Show in Harrison, Arkansas. March 11th
Shown: all milking does, all dry does, and all bucklings Darshan: BOB (for a milking leg).
We are proud of our bucklings as well, who went 1st, 2nd, 3d, and 5th in a sanctioned
class. Michcle's bucklings were 1st, 2nd, and 5th, and Darshan's buck was 3rd.
District Fair in Harrison, Arkansas. October 13th
Shown: Darshan, Opal, and Geisha Darshan: BOB (including beating the champion challenges) for a milking leg. Opal: RCH Geisha: Placed toward the end of the class. Her pasterns fell due to the stress of the
show. However, the judge stated the if her pasterns hadn't fallen, she would have been serious
competition for BOB.
